New Disneyland Concept Art & Details Reveal Marvel-Based Park Attractions

Fans will get to interact with Doctor Strange and Spider-Man as the two Marvel heroes, among others, will soon debut in new Disney Parks and Resorts as part of the Global Avengers Initiative projects for the House of Mouse's theme parks around the globe. Following the reveal of early details for Marvel Super Hero Land, scheduled to open its doors in Disney's California Adventure in 2020, the Marvel mania continues in various other locations including Hong Kong and Paris.

Disney continues to expand its brand outside of the big and small screen, this time, via their parks, which are offering fans a new way to experience the magic of the MCU. Capitalizing on the popularity of Marvel characters and superhero properties in general, the House of Mouse is branching into other channels where fan clamor for these IPs is met, including making them the center of some of their latest theme park attractions.New details regarding the Global Avengers Initiative have been released in the official Disney Parks Blog by Scott Drake, the Creative Executive of Marvel Global Portfolio. In the post, he said that as the creative executive for Walt Disney Imagineering’s Global Marvel Portfolio, he and his team are working with both Marvel Studios and Entertainment branches for brand new superhero-themed experiences and attractions at various Disney Parks and Resorts locations.
