Margot Robbie Auctioning Off Tickets to Birds of Prey Premiere for Time's Up

In support of the Time's Up movement, actress Margot Robbie is auctioning off tickets to the Birds of Prey (And the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) premiere. One of DC's many upcoming movies, Birds of Prey will center around a group of all-women vigilantes in Gotham City, who are believed to be protecting the character Cassandra Cain from the villain Black Mask. The film will star Robbie as her Suicide Squad character Harley Quinn and be directed by Cathy Yan.

While the film is still a ways away, fans have already gotten a ton of information surrounding the upcoming DC project. Birds of Prey will be rated R and will also have a much smaller budget than other superhero films Warner Bros. has released. Birds of Prey will begin filming in early 2019, setting up the film for a 2020 release date. While the official synopsis has yet to be revealed, the cast has already started to fill out. Mary Elizabeth Winstead will play Huntress, with Jurnee Smollett-Bell playing Black Canary, and Ella Jay Basco playing Cassandra Cain. Also, Ewan McGregor will play the villain Black Mask, who is thought to be the main antagonist. Now that Birds of Prey has gotten an official title and Warner Bros. is generating anticipation for the movie, Robbie has decided to use that excitement for a charity.
